INNISFREE Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack

sleeping packs are one of the best inventions for lazy people like me
i have quite a few of them from different brands
just slap on, sleep, and wake up with awesome skin!

today, i introduce you, the INNISFREE WINE JELLY SLEEPING PACK

here's how it looks like inside, with the innisfree logo on the cover

and the description+directions on the base of the tub

got this product during my trip to korea last year after researching for Innisfree's recommended-to-buy items online

initially when i started using this around august last year, i didnt think much about it because it had almost no effect on me
and then i found out why!
it was because i didnt massage the product well into my skin, so i always slept with a pile of goo on my face, which was really uncomfortable

but now that i have re-discovered this product, im loving it!

even though it is said to be used as the last stage of your night skincare routine, i used it straightaway after cleansing and toning
bit by bit, i'll apply it onto the different parts of my face and massaged the product in THOROUGHLY
this is very important if you want the product to be absorbed and for it to work its magic
*massage it somewhat like when you're cleansing your face, in small circular motions all over
the product really does get absorbed in very smoothly if you massage well, leaving a sort-of matte finish

also, because this product comes in a pot form where you have to scoop out the products, there is high tendency that your remaining product will look very ugly and messy from all the past scooping
however! when i picked it up and opened it (after almost a year of leaving it on my shelf), it looked completely new and un-damaged thanks to the shape-memory formula

consistency is somewhat like jelly/pudding, there is solidity in it, but blends well when massaged

the thing about me is that i really like using sleeping packs/masks for my nighttime skincare routine because i feel that these products are specially formulated and designed to last you through the night/work their magic given that specific (sleeping) time period

also, because i sleep under harsh conditions aka aircon blasting directly at me (else i cant sleep), i usually pick products which includes moisturising contents to save my skin

however, this product does the bare minimum in hydrating
although i feel ok with regards to the moisturising effect, my skin shows otherwise
after a few days of using this product at night, the tip of my nose started peeling ):
also, my flakey cheeks returned ):

so i guess this product cant survive my blasting aircon all that well

nonetheless! this product smells awesome!!
*saving grace
since its a wine pack, it smells soooo much of sweet grapes
sometimes i think i use this product solely for the smell
i love fresh/sweet smelling products and going to sleep with the smell of this pack is just divine~

all in all, i would recommend this product if you just need some light moisturising effects at night
otherwise, i would advice you to find a better pack than this
