Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion

Annyeong readers! LT here :) Not long ago I won a Etude House Any Cushion from Teenage SG worth $32. So here I am reviewing it! Hehe I didn't buy it in the first place because I still have my BB and CC cream from Etude House which I bought from Korea CHEAPLY and this any cushion is seriously overpriced in Singapore! But I've been wanting to try it and viola! I got a free one ^^v

Product: Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion

Review:
First, let's talk about the appearance of the product. This is my first foundation-like product and I am quite impressed with its look. It's pretty with a mirror and hygienic separation between the cushion with the foundation although it can be more compact. But overall, I like it!

Etude House Any Cushion claims to be able to brighten, reduce wrinkles, control sebum and creates a flawless, radiant and moist skin that lasts all day. It also has SPF 50+ and PA+++. Comes in 2 shades and mine is Natural Beige W13 which I think most girls use this unless you are quite tanned.

We all know words are just words and it can bring a product high up in the sky.. But let's be honest and see how this product fare in the unpredictable weather of Singapore haha!

Starting off with the good things, I like how the any cushion has SPF and PA so I can skip the applying sunblock step and the foundation feels cool on my skin and is easy to apply. It does give the flawless kpop idol look (kyaaa) but be careful not to overdo the foundation if not the colour difference between your face and neck would be too obvious.

However, the coverage is rather light and I prefer to use CC cream to balance out the unevenness in my skin tone before apply the foundation. Sadly, oil control wasn't great either and my skin start to shine from the oil after a few hours even in air-conditioned places. Moisture-wise, not sure if it's because I usually stay in air-conditioned malls when I'm out, my face starts to dry and I can see powdered spots on my face especially chin and between the eyes. Well, I guess if it's that good at providing moisture, my face wouldn't shine in the first place. I know I'm suppose to touch up on my foundation when this happens but hey! it'suppose to provide all-day radiant and moist skin yo~

Overall, it's a good product for people who are lazy and just want a light coverage before rushing out of the house but do remember to bring the cushion pact along for the much needed touch up!

PS. If you can, buy it online or from Korea, it's much cheaper!

Thanks for reading and have a nice day ahead! Oh and Happy New Year! :D

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter (For Colored Hair)

Annyeong! LT here :)

I am reviewing The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter that I got as a gift after my haul a few months ago XD

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter (for colored hair)
At first, I didn't realize how good this is and just used it twice a week so that I can finish it and not waste this gift. But after a few comments on how my hair color (especially the highlighted streaks) look exceptionally bright, I realized it's because I used the hair butter during my shower on that day.

After taking notice, I find that my hair indeed is smoother and smells like butter (haha as my mom would say) and most importantly, the colors look so luscious and pretty! The brilliance stays for a couple of days only though but it's understandable right? We go outside and dirt or dust gets trapped in our hair and skin..

Hair butter works the same way as hair conditioner but I guess it affords more deep level treatment. It's also more expensive needless to say but I'm excited to use it daily after my current conditioners are finished and see if it improves my hair quality!

The Body Shop also has other range of hair butter so next time you pop by their shop, maybe you can ask the sales assistant to recommend which one works for you hair type! ;)

Have a good day people!

IT'S MASK TIME!

Annyeong! How are you guys doing?? LT here! Sorry for not updating this blog since both A and I started school but no worries because it's holidays for us now! ^^

I have good news and sad news to share though. Good news is that I've gotten new products for me to review and Innisfree opened their first store in Singapore! Yeahhh!! I would definitely visit and see what I can get my hands on ;)

The sad news is that as the deadline nears, I don't see anyone participating in our giveaway :( So to entice you guys, I've tried some of masks that I took out from the giveaway bundle the we wanted to give away!

This post will be dedicated to the one and only facial care product for lazy people - MASK! kekeke

To make things easy for you and me, I would just provide a list of the masks I've tried and mention briefly how was it. Keep in mind whatever I've said might not apply for you and my review is based on first try experience :)

P.S no photos because I was lazy >< but in all honesty, I did try them all! Here goes..

1. Innisfree Cucumber Mask - Not surprisingly good but not bad as a soothing agent
2. Etude House Eye Mask - Sorry SHINee.. but nope it wasn't useful
3. Mamonde Aloe Vera Mask - Acceptable
4.Holika Holika Pearl Essence Mask - Not bad
5. K Story Hyaluronic Acid Mask - WOAH this is good!
6. Leaders Insolution Hydrogel Eye Therapy -  It's comfortable and soothing !
7. Holika Holika Tea Tree Essence Mask - Average
8. K Story Snake Venom Mask - the name may be intimidating but the mask works fine. Worth a try!
9. Holika Holika Honey Essence Mask - actually does have the honey smell but average too
10. K Story Bee Venom - Acceptable
11. Mamonde Moisture Mask - Especially like how the mask is designed with eye lids covers too!
12. Lovemore Agar Agar Lifting Masks - Not bad!
13. Sexy Look Black Pearl and White Truffle Mask - MY OH MY THIS IS GOOD! I am actually convinced that this mask can really lift my face with its ergonomic design that comes with a ear loop to secure the mask and the mask extends to the chin as well. (Y)

BONUS!
14. Faceshop Volcanic Nose Strip - *in order to emphasize how good it is* this nose strip plucked out an entire lifetime worth of black heads!!

15. Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Nose Pack - Not as impressive as the Faceshop one but it works pretty well too. Either that or I just have too much blackheads! T.T oh it comes with a cooling strip to close your nose pores which I find to be important recently. I just felt that since I started using nose pore strips, my pores seem to have enlarged and become slightly visible ><

Ok, I'm done! If you have been hesitating on which mask to buy, hope this brief review helps you!

Have fun experimenting and May you find your best mask ever! hehe
