Empties (The Saem and The Face Shop)

hi guys!
im back, graduated and unemployed ㅠㅠ
but today, i have two products that i've just finished and would like to review
introducing..
The Saem's The Essential First Essence
as well as
The Face Shop's Hyaluronic Acid All-In-One Cream

i'll start with the essence first
backstory:
bought this in busan when we enter The Saem in gwangbok-dong
we were the only customers in the shop so the salesgirl was really on us! (me in particular)
i initially entered to buy my concealers but then she started recommending me all sorts of products and even tried them on me
we were kinda intrigued by the bubble masks but then she insisted that i should REEEAAAALLLLYYY buy this essence if i had to choose only one, and she'll give me loads of sample of the bubble masks
and said that if i buy the bubble mask she cant give me any sample of this essence because there just wasnt any
and i was sold just like that -_-
so here i am stuck with the heavy bottle which i had to lug back to seoul, could have just bought it in seoul and save my energy actually
but im weak at rejecting people so here i am

so i've been using this essence really faithfully everyday after i was done with my iope bio essence
and i must say, comparing both essence, this was pretty inferior
well maybe its just my skin type but i have combination skin, which is oily on my T-zone and dry everywhere else
first of all, this essence promises to 1) restore original light of skin and offer radiance through pure and natural fermentation process, and 2) maximise permeation to skin with fermentation of enzyme and resilience of skin after use

well, it definitely smells fermented alright haha
so as per the instructions i initially used it as the first step of my skincare, but gradually used it on top of my toner
it may be because of my skin combination, but this essence always leaves an oily layer on top of my skin whenever applied, and no matter how much i try to massage/pat it in, there is always that layer which cannot be immediately absorbed
so what i do is take paper and fan it in hahahaha
really troublesome and its really the wrong product to pick up when you're rushing out but i dont want to waste it
in fact, im still left with this 50ml bottle that came with the 150ml bottle which i finished so im actually STILL using this
maybe i'll leave it for my trip to korea soon in the winter, perhaps it'll better settle given the dry conditions
but if you have oily skin or just impatient like me, i would really recommend you to try something else

moving on, we have the cream from the face shop
on the label on top, it says that its an All-In-One cream comprising skin/lotion/essence/cream/sleeping pack
im not sure why i actually bought this because im not exactly fond of creams
i dont like the heavy feeling of it, and this is exactly what im talking about

when applied, it actually breaks down into a sort of watery composition rather than cream and feels really nice and light
but then if you leave it on, it gets sticky and doesnt exactly absorb well so i often go to bed with a sticky face which my hair loves getting stuck onto, not pleasant
so, in order not to waste this, i use it on my legs after shower! hahahaha
let me tell you it has worked wonders on my legs for some reason
i have really dry skin and if you look closely, you can sometimes see cracklines which really freaks me out, looks like a dried-out desert :O
and you know how sometimes if your nail accidentally scratch against your legs, there'll be these white marks left behind
well thats because there's not enough water content in the skin of your legs
but after using this, my legs look and feel so moist and there's no more desert surface nor white marks
in fact, my legs look super shiny
but its still sticky when i freshly apply this cream so again, i fan it down hahaha

til next time!
